so I got this crazy idea that I wanted a tattoo piece of the Chinese dragon and phoenix to go on each side of my torso.

so after looking up a number of dragons for reference I whipped up this beauty. I'm incredibly pleased with it and can't wait to get it. unfortunately I'm broke as hell, so it'll have to wait. a loooooong time cuz its gunna be big and expensive.

haven't started the phoenix yet but based of my concept sketches I'm excited for it.

piece is 18"x24" in pen

It's beautiful!
But the detail is incredible.. it will have to be huge. Like, completely covering your back if you want it to look good.

yeah, i've thought about that but i figure at about a 75% reduction it'll fit on my side and i don't think the detail will get too fuzzy
